L.H. Finigan's first novel, Love and War, was an IndieReader Discovery Award finalist described as “…a hybrid of 'The Things They Carried,' and director Julie Taymor's visual extravaganza 'Across the Universe.' Her fiction and essays have appeared in newspapers and literary journals across the country. Several of her short plays have been staged in and around Boston, including twice at the acclaimed Boston Theater Marathon. A native of Astoria, NY, she majored in English at the University of Buffalo where she edited the student newspaper. Her MA in film is from  UNC-Chapel Hill, the setting of her novel in progress, All That Remains.
